What we welcome
Pitches, finished articles, personal essays, artwork, photography, and suggestions for people, brands and places we should cover. We welcome writers, students, professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, photographers and anyone with an interesting experience.
Before you submit
- Contributions are currently voluntary and unpaid.
- Submitting does not guarantee publication. Every submission is read by an editor.
- Send work you created, or have the right to share. Tell us about any material you don't own (quotes, images, music).
- Tell us if the work was previously published or exhibited, and where.
Review
We aim to reply within [four weeks] when we would like to take something further. Because of volume we may not reply to every submission individually.
Your rights
You keep your copyright. Submitting gives us permission only to read and consider your work. If we want to publish, we will agree a publication licence with you in writing first, typically a non-exclusive licence to publish online and in our newsletter and social channels, with credit to you. Editing
We edit for clarity, length and house style, and you will see the edited version before publication.

Contributors generally publish under their real names, with a short bio.
